Own the domain.
Not the exposure.
Every domain registration is a public record. Your name, home address, phone number and email — searchable by anyone, forever. Domain Protect registers on your behalf, so the record shows us, not you.

The problem
ICANN requires a public record. It doesn't require it to be yours.
Since the day you register a domain, your registrant details are published to a global WHOIS database — queryable by anyone with a terminal, no login required.

This is the default, not the exception. Anyone — a stalker, a competitor scraping registrant emails, a data broker — can run this exact query against your domain right now.
Some registrars offer "WHOIS privacy" as an upsell. We built Domain Protect the other way around: privacy is the registration. It's not a checkbox you have to remember to tick.
You still own the domain outright. You still control the DNS, the renewal, the transfer. The only thing that changes is whose name sits in the public record — ours, not yours.
How it works
Three steps. Your details never leave step two.
Domain Protect acts as your licensed registrant agent — an ICANN-recognized structure, not a workaround.
Choose your domain
Check availability across .eu, .nl, .com, .io and 300+ other TLDs. Same inventory, same registries, as any standard registrar.
We become the record
Domain Protect Registrar Services is listed as the public registrant. Legal correspondence and abuse notices route through us and are forwarded to you.
You keep everything
Manage DNS, nameservers, renewals and transfers from your own dashboard. You are, and remain, the beneficial owner of the domain.
Questions
Before you switch the record over.
Is this actually legal?
Yes. Registrant-agent / privacy-proxy registration is an ICANN-recognized structure used by registrars worldwide. You remain the beneficial owner with full contractual rights to the domain; we act only as the listed public contact.
Can I still receive legal notices?
Yes. Abuse reports, trademark disputes and legal correspondence sent to the public record are received by us and forwarded to your account without delay. Nothing gets lost by being private.
What happens if I stop paying?
Your domain follows the standard registry expiry and grace-period process, same as any registration. You'll get renewal reminders well before anything lapses.
Can I transfer the domain away later?
Yes, at any time. Transfers work exactly as they would from any other registrar — you initiate it from your dashboard and the domain moves under your control.
Which domain endings support privacy protection?
Most gTLDs (.com, .io, .net, .org and similar) support full privacy. Some country-code domains, including certain .eu and .nl registrations, have registry-level restrictions — we'll flag it before you register if that applies to your choice.
